Private Networks

Within the CloudVPS Compute platform you have the ability to set up and define your own private network. A network is the same concept as a VLAN or Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) as it will separate network traffic within the network from all other traffic in our cloud. The use of a network is recommended if you plan to deploy clusted configurations involving front-end and back-end servers. When launching a cloud server through the new server wizard you can attach a previously created network or create a new network. We recommend the use of only one network per clustered setup.

A network needs a Router and one or more floating IPs to connect with the public internet. Private networks use private IP's for internal communication between instances.

2. At the navigation pane under Compute, click Servers.
