How can I arrange backups?

Your data is extremely secure at CloudVPS, but if you would like to be able to revert to backups from the past, then this must be set up separately. As a matter of good hosting practice, we always recommend purchasing backup service.

You can purchase backup space which can be provisioned within another data centre. Backups can then be made from a control panel or with your own software. CloudVPS provides its own advanced backup script for Linux VPSs and can help you set up backups at your request. Within our network traffic relating to the backup account is free but it is not allowed to make regular transfers to or from the backup account from outside our network.

Another option is daily automatic backups included in the snapshot product for Linux virtual servers. However, snapshots are stored on the same SAN as the VPS’s hard drive.
