What happens to my contract with CloudVPS?

As soon as the migration of your VPS is completed, the contract for the VPS at CloudVPS expires. After the migration, your VPS will be invoiced from TransIP with the corresponding conditions. Check the TransIP website for more information.

What payment methods does TransIP offer?

You can use iDeal and direct debit to pay your invoice. If you need a different payment method, such as credit card or PayPal, please contact our support department via 'Contact' in your TransIP control panel.

How are my products invoiced at TransIP?

On every 1st and 15th day of the month, you will receive an invoice from TransIP for the services purchased during that period. Invoices are sent by mail with the subject: Invoice F0000.1234.1234.1234. You can find all your invoices in your TransIP control panel. In this article, we explain how you can download, print or email your invoices to an email address of your choice.

Which administrative data is transferred to TransIP?

The data known to us will be transferred to TransIP:

  • CloudVPS customer number
  • Name and address data
  • Email address(es)
  • Phone number(s)
  • Company Name
  • VAT number
  • Chamber of Commerce number
  • Bank details

I have services running on the ClassicVPS and OS platform, will I soon have to deal with 2 invoices?

At CloudVPS, an invoice is sent per service. If you purchase multiple services from CloudVPS, you will indeed receive multiple invoices. If, after the migration of your VPS, you also still purchase other services from CloudVPS, such as OpenStack, you will continue to receive a separate invoice for this. In the future, your VPS will be invoiced from TransIP with the corresponding conditions.

At CloudVPS, I have servers running on both platforms. Will I receive new login details for both portals (CloudVPS and TransIP) after the migration?

You will only receive new login details for your TransIP account.

I already have an account with TransIP. Can the accounts be merged?

We create a new account with TransIP for all current Classic VPS customers. With that new account, you can log in to the TransIP control panel. You can then choose to migrate your VPSs to an existing TransIP account.

What about the prices of new servers at TransIP?
